First commissioned for use across the Bodleian Libraries, the chairs needed to be comfortable to sit in for long periods. As they are viewed from the rear, this profile became a vital feature. A timeless design was required for this prestigious location.

Vertical timber elements attach to a sled base and a generous seat and comfortable backrest distinguish the design. This popular chair remains in widespread use across Bodleian sites.
